5 Things I Am Thankful For Today {2}

Everyday I thank God for so many things.
Especially the little things.
This is a little series I created to remind us to appreciate and not take for granted the simple things in life.
So…here we go…

1.  Gift of Sight

I am so thankful for the gift of sight.  To be able to enjoy God’s artwork is a blessing.  Actually…I am blind as a bat…so thank you Father for contacts!

2.  Breeze

It was hard to find a picture representing “breeze.”
Trump is such a brat.
I respect his honesty though.
What is it about a quiet breeze that just soothes my soul?
Sitting out on the back porch while writing this with the breeze, the birds, the blue sky.
Feeling completely content.
I think it’s God saying hello.
And that makes me happy 🙂

3. My mother

Clearly, I am thankful for my mother every day.
I was able to spend the day with her yesterday
and it reminded me of how much I cherish every minute we have together.
The above pic is of a gift she gave me.
A 50 cent sign from the dollar store.
She saw the hydrangea and thought of me.
So sweet.

3.  HGTV

Do I really need to explain this one?
Love the inspiration it shares.

4.  Coffee

I like mine black and strong…
The hubs woke me up with a cup of coffee in hand…
…such an angel…
I have really grown to love this stuff.
When I say love, I mean addicted.
Thank you coffee for allowing me to be a little more tolerable every morning.

5.  Crossfit

I know that I have mentioned it before herehere, and here and I am so sure it will not be the last, but I am very thankful to be a part of the crossfit community.
More specifically Crossfit Adrenaline.
This picture only represents a snippet (<-that’s a real word) of our ever growing family.
Crossfit has truly helped me to, not only, live a healthier lifestyle, but also become stronger physically AND mentally.
Oh…and the relationships that have been built…

what are you thankful for today?

Hi Luisa!!

Love the blog! I loved the Trump pic! “Mother nature you’re fired”…what a crack up!

I’m thankful for making it out of the Army and for the life I have been given….truly amazing the things I get to do!
