5 more days until Christmas!!
(Just in case you haven’t noticed.)
I wanted to share with you guys a super easy DIY gift that I made for a friend of mine…aannnddd…I just might go ahead and make us some too.
I know that it may be pushing it to try out last minute crafts.
Shoot…if you’re anything like me, then you’ll be lucky to get some last minute shopping in…
and if you’re anything like Craig,
then you’ll be lucky to have a wife with shaved legs by Christmas.
No fear though. This gift, like most, you can also give for other occasions. So, if you don’t have time to make some by Christmas, then give it a try for a birthday later on.
Below are a few pictures of some examples of do-it-yourself coasters that I found on that fine world wide web.
So…off I went to my craft room/Craig’s office/disaster war zone.
I gathered my supplies:
Cork coasters (found at Target)
I used the same stencils that I used to redo my serving tray.
I started off by stenciling a fun design and then, I stenciled my friend’s initial over the design.
I really heart homemade gifts.
Another easy project in the bag!!
If you don’t want to pay money for stencils, then use things around the house to come up with your own designs. You can use tape or even print off designs and trace it onto your coaster.
Go ahead and give it a try! Thanks for reading guys and I wish you all a blessed weekend!
