Name that tune!
So, I’ve been stalking the weather reports and any time I see sunshine and at least a high of 45 degrees I bundle up and high tail it outside to fiddle about in the yard. You know…making plans and wishing it were warm enough to plant stuff. This year will be my first attempt to grow an edible garden. I have mixed feelings of excitement from success and nervousness from failure. Either way, at least I can say that I tried.

Well…
I think that it’s safe to say that I won’t be planting any more plants for a while. Why? Because it’s a million bajillion degrees outside. I always get a little excited when spring comes along. I tend to overdo it the first couple of weeks and then I’m finished…like…sick of the yard finished. Anyway, let’s see what has survived so far… These are lilies that my mom brought me from her yard. Seriously, I was pleasantly surprised that these guys bloomed AND didn’t get gobbled up by deer and rabbits. Woohoo!
